Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

As part of the submission process, authors who publish with the ASIDE Internal Medicine journal agree to the following terms:
- Copyright Transfer
Upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication, the author(s) hereby transfer and assign all copyrights in and to the manuscript to the ASIDE Internal Medicine journal, including but not limited to the right to reproduce, distribute, and/or display the manuscript in print and electronic formats.
- License to Publish
The ASIDE Journal of Internal Medicine will have the exclusive right to publish, distribute, and reproduce the submitted manuscript in any form, media, or technology throughout the world.
- Author's Rights
Authors retain the right to:
- Share copies of the article (e.g., in an institutional repository or on a personal website), with acknowledgment of its first publication in the ASIDE Journal of Internal Medicine.
- Use the article for teaching and academic purposes, provided full citation to the original publication is given.
- Warranties and Permissions
The authors warrant that:
- The submitted work is original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- They hold the full copyright for any previously published material contained within the manuscript, or have obtained all necessary permissions for use.
By submitting to the ASIDE Journal of Internal Medicine, the author(s) agree to this Copyright Notice and consent to its terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the manuscript being withdrawn from consideration or removal of the publication.
